Our History
Little Innovation Labs began with a pattern repeated across years of systems work: when the available software stopped short, Zach built the automation needed to finish the job.
The recurring problem
Across several companies and industries, Zach worked with many administrative products and suites. User creation, termination, offboarding, and countless other tasks often ended the same way: a PowerShell script was needed to connect the steps the existing tools left apart.
Scripts became systems
Individual scripts could be efficient, but they were often tied to one environment, one naming convention, or one person's operating knowledge. The long-running idea was to connect them into something more versatile: a product that could bring daily data sources together, show the ten-thousand-foot view, and still reach the razor-focused detail without moving to another suite.
The catalyst
HAP gave that vision a product boundary and a reason to build beyond one-off scripts. It became a serious piece of software that Zach believed could be useful to other administrators and organizations—not just the environment where the original automation was written.
The wider ambition
Starting the company created a place to continue developing enterprise tools such as HAP while also pursuing independent games for mobile, desktop, and the web. The goal is an ecosystem that can support enterprise-grade software and inventive games without confusing the purpose of either.
What drives the work
Zach's work is shaped by a passion for building scripts and applications that remove repetitive effort, diagnosing complex technical problems, and exploring new solutions. Outside of enterprise technology, gaming and family—his wife and children—are central to the life the company is being built around.
